As the cup proved to be such a hit last year, we have entered several teams from across the club into the England Hockey Championships again this year. The first-round draw has now been made, and with great excitement I can reveal the first round ties:
Men’s 1’s Vs Fareham 2’s (Home)
Ladies 1’s Vs Woking (Home)
Ladies 2’s Vs Camberley & Farnborough (Away)
Ladies 3’s – 5’s VS Chertsey (Home)
Ladies O35’s Vs Slough (Away)
Men’s O35’s Vs Wallingford (Home)
These fixtures are all scheduled to take place on the weekend 26th/27th October, with exact dates and timings to be confirmed soon. Let’s get lots of support down at Cantley to support all of our home teams! We have also entered a team into the mixed championship – the draw for this is still to come. We had some really good performances in the cup last year – lets hope we can do the same again this time!
