The match started pretty well with us having the majority of chances. But cracks began to show as we conceded a few shortcorners (mostly due to some dodgy straps on my helmet). [Editors note. Tom's helmet fell off nearly every time he moved quickly to make a save].

At the end of the 1st half it was still 0 - 0 with us clearly being the better team. But as we entered the second they scored a scrappy goal at the near post. As the game went on we created more chances, but not long after their first they scored again lifting it slightly over my knee.

Nearing the final whistle had them boxed in their half and managed to claw back a goal thanks to a good finish from Elliot. However the whistle blew and unfortunately our first game of the season had not gone to plan and we lost 2 - 1.
